Has anyone noticed ADR cancellations on/near the date when people must pay their reservations in full? I'm just wondering if it would be worth paying special attention around that mark. We have reservations, but the timing isn't ideal on some of them.

Yes many hard to get ressies open up around that time.

Good luck!!

Great Question!
I never thought of this!:worship:

We just booked on the free dining promotion only a few weeks ago and did not upgrade because there were no good places availible.

We decided to do one character breakfast out of pocket.

I will keep checking as the date gets closer!!!:wizard:

What is the last day out you can make changes to your reservation without paying a fee? Maybe we could upgrade to deluxe dining.

OP your ticker says 45 days- let us know if you have any luck!

Today DD12 and I decided to try for 'Ohanas in June and the only times are 9:45 pm. I will keep checking back. Need to decide if DH and DD9 will enjoy the menu though.

OP, thanks for posting this. I trying to get Chef Mickey's on our MK day, but know look. I will look on my 45 day mark.

Look a few days ahead of your 45 day mark.

For example, if your 45 day mark falls on a Wednesday, people who cancelled a one week trip that was going to start on the previous Saturday or Sunday would then (hopefully) cancel their entire week of ADRs when they cancel the trip.

Took me a week and a half, but I finally got a suitable 'Ohana time in June. Keep looking! Persistence pays off! And maybe a little fairy dust from here too. ;)

When we went back in Dec...I noticed a few things open up around the 45 day mark, but the real movement began about 2 weeks out. Also be mindful of the 5 day mark- since that's when room only reservations have to pay...in fact, that's when I got two REALLY good ones. With the second one, I remember sitting back and realizing that my ADR quest was over. Joyous and sad all at the same time! I actually went through withdrawal. It wasn't until day 2 of the trip that I got over it. Good luck!

On day 46, I got Le Cellier for lunch (day 48) at 12:45pm for a party of 5. My husband was thrilled! He has been describing it as a miracle :lovestruc.

I'm still trying to get a better time for our fantasmic dinner package and our 1900 Park Fare dinner, but we have times that will work if nothing opens up.

We are 37 days out and I am still tweaking my ADRs to get better times. Thankfully, people are starting to cancel some of the ADRs which is helping my touring plans flow better. I have been looking for a Crystal Palace for 5/9 for before the park opens and I just found one for 8:25am...of course I am still going to hog the online dining for a little bit earlier time, but that is a start since I have been looking for a couple of weeks now. Definitely don't give up and just be obsessive with the online dining. Good luck :goodvibes

I would keep checking. last summer I got 'Ohana 3 after 3 weeks of checking. There also may be people like me who are planning to do DxDP and made the reservations just in case.

To answer your question I believe you can add DXDP without any fees 2 weeks before your check in time. I plan to add it next month but I am waiting to make sure we have the money first.

We have all our reservations but there are a few times I would like to change.
