Rescind club card Hilton vouchers

Does anyone know if the club card vouchers can be used for a one night stay at Hilton gatwick. Also it states vouchers are vailid for6 months. Would it be possible to exchange vouchers before the change and then book the hotel room later. We are traveling in august. Thanks

Yes you can use the clubcard vouchers for one night at the Gatwick Hilton. You need to quote PR20TC. Do a dummy booking on the Hilton's website and take it to the point where you get a total as the first amount that comes up will be without tax. You'll then know how many vouchers to change.

You can pay any balance once at the hotel. For example our family room for August 2011 came to £208.00 so I ordered £200 worth of vouchers.

The vouchers Tesco send to you are certainly valid for 6 months and I guess for you it just depends whether or not you want to risk the Hilton not having any rooms available for your date. Have you not booked your trip yet? If there are no rooms available when you come to book I'm not sure if you can send the vouchers back to Tesco to have them added back to your account - this might be something to check.

We are travelling in Aug too and there are rooms available to book now using the Tesco rate. We booked online using the correct promotional rate and then sent in our Clubcard Deals Vouchers to Hilton. Once they receive them it doesn't matter about the 6 month validity, they will send us a Hilton voucher thing just before the stay in August. Have done this for several years without a problem and always booked more than 6 months out when the promotional rooms become available. Can't see any point in waiting if you are definitely going and have the Clubcard vouchers now, if you leave it there will probably be no availability as it is school hols.

nixieh - I was surprised to receive our Hilton voucher this week. I was also very pleased because I was concerned that they might forget to send it out in the 2 weeks beforehand...I'm just a control freak lol
