My grandson managed to get a spiral fracture of his tibia today and we may have to push our trip out a couple of weeks from the beginning of October until the end, can anyone tell me if it is going to cost me money to change the dates of our vacation? oh and the trip is paid in full already.

No, Ido not think it will cost you any money to change dates. As long a you still go an ddl not decrease the overall amount of money you are spending. Last year we almost had to cancel 1 week before leaving and the CM on the phone said no problem as long as you are not canceling the trip and are still coming and not decreasing cost.

Someone else might know more definitively.

Oh and I just noticed your dates. You are within the cancellation period so you would be good either way.

If you have a package booked, there is no penalty for making changes up to 45 days before arrival date and you're still well outside that deadline.

If you are booked with a special (e.g. free dining, room discount, bounceback) you might lose the special if your new dates are not within the dates of the special offer or if there are no more rooms available for the offer.

no discounts on my package. the thing that worries me is the damn airlines, we already have flights book and there is always the freakin' change fees.

This. We decided we wanted to add a day and it would have cost $1200 through United booked via Orbitz. The bulk of the few was United, Orbitz was like $35 each.

I was just going to ask you about your flights- that will most likely be your only pain. Stupid cancellation fees!

As far as the Disney package, you should be just fine moving your dates! :thumbsup2

Did you get trip insurance that will cover the flight change fees? We usually drive down, but I think some policies will pay if medical issues that delay a trip.
