Resales from Disney?

I am a newbie on the DVC boards... and I have a question what is a average cost for cloing and commisions if you buy resale at timeshare store or a company similar to it? My parents are DVC at BWV and my DH and I would love to buy some points too. And when I was reading this post people were talking about wait list... Is that thru DVC directly on a resort that has already been sold out? Thanks for your help.

CLOSING COST WAS ~$2.20/PT ON MY CONTRACT AND I PURCHASED 250 PTS. THE TOTAL CLOSING COST DEPENDS ON HOW MANY POINTS YOU'RE BUYING AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHY CLOSING COST IS TIED TO THE POINTS PURCHASED. ISN'T IT SAME AMOUNT OF PAPERWORK WHETHER YOU'RE BUYING 1 POINT OR 500 POINTS.
AND YES, WAITLIST APPLIES ONLY WHEN PURCHASING DIRECTLY FROM DISNEY. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO PURCHASE SOLD-OUT PROPERTIES DIRECTLY FROM DISNEY, THEY'LL PUT YOU ON A WAITLIST IF POINTS YOU'RE LOOKING TO PURCHASE IS NOT AVAILABLE. JUST REMEMBER, IF YOU'RE NOT A DVC MEMBER AND PURCHASING DIRECTLY FROM DISNEY, MINIMUM YOU MUST PURCHASE IS 150 PTS. NO SUCH RESTRICTIONS ON RESALE
