The weekend I was there and told you all I got paranoid about getting stuck in the Skyliner in the heat. The title was a bit clickbaity but I clicked anyway. I did learn they have water hidden on the seats for emergencies. Well it’s blocked so I will summarize.

Title was “Two Guests Collapse After Being Trapped in Disney Skyliner Gondola”

They didn’t collapse, they were laying down on the seat. Stuck for 50 minutes 😳 but evidently there is water and snacks in the seats for emergencies.

Yeah, they have water bags in there and I think something to urinate into. But I would be so mortified having to do that that I don’t think I could continue my vacation happily! Having to pee while stuck in the Skyliner terrifies me. Riviera is clearly not my resort.
 
I think so but then again I've never had anyone say they like the bus 🤣🤣 for me its monorail, bus, skyliner, then boat 🙊
Don’t worry, there are dozens of us who think buses aren’t that bad!
My preference:
Walking > boat > monorail? (Have only ridden between Disneyland Hotel and Disneyland when I was 8, and I liked it) > bus > any other possible transportation mode > Skyliner

DD and I feel the same way. We stayed at RIvera for one night a couple of years ago and rode the skyliner and DD and I both couldn't wait to get off.

When I told my husband about a 100 point VGC (which we really can't afford right now), he said "just throw them a lowball offer." Ha! I told him I would not do that. But it was tempting!

My son would really struggle if this happened to us. As it is, I worry about being stuck on ANY attraction in the parks. But being up in the air like that? NOPE. At least if we were stuck on It's a Small World or something, we're just in a boat. He doesn't like roller coasters or anything that would be scary to get stuck on, thankfully.
