Just a heads up -- especially to buyers out there.
In October, we sold one of our contracts through the TimeShare Store. Closing went smooth, no problems -- at least that we were aware of.
Until the other day, when I opened our 2005 dues statement. Listed on there, were dues for the contract we sold.
I called Member Services who told me -- yep, we still own those 150 points at BWV. Then MS sent me off to Member Administration where I had to leave a message and have yet to receive a call back.
So, I called the TimeShare Store. Sure enough, we do still own BWV at least as far as Disney is concerned. The TimeShare Store is working to figure out where the problem is.
I'm certain the buyer has not tried to book any reservations with their points yet -- had they, they would have found out that they don't own any.
I'll admit, I am not the best bookkeeper. Had I been, I would have realized that our monthly due deduction from our savings account never decreased as it should have once the sale went through.
I will post an update when I hear back from the TimeShare Store.
