Resale Owners Can’t Borrow Points Online

IT is sometimes a real mystery .... what we know for sure is that there is a problem with borrowing points. That not every contract have the problem, maybe it is with new membership number and not type of contract, who knows? All I know is that I will have to call to borrow more points :rotfl2:

I didn't have an issue before the last 2 weeks - now I can't modify a reservation without getting the Dwarfs.
 
I finally got the dwarves a couple weeks ago when I tried to borrow four points, and then the room was gone. Probably for the best because I am going to cancel the trip anyway.

It’s really discouraging that this issue still hasn’t been fixed, as it does seem to be targeted at resale and make it harder for us to book.
 

We have a number of contracts and three Id numbers two of which are resale contracts. We have never had any trouble borrowing or banking any of our contracts. . I do it all the time.
 
We haven't had any problems either, but with that said, not all of our points are resale.
I do think it is a bit humorous how many people think that fixing problems with resale contracts should be a priority for Disney. To be honest, if I was Disney, I would only work on resale problems if there were currently no direct sale issues. That is just how life works.

Given this, it should not matter where you have bought your points once the account is ready to be used.

Like many have said, it appears to be impacting some resale contracts and accounts but not others.

This issue has been a problem for about a year and there is no reason that it has not been fixed or figured out.
