Resale closing, adding direct, timeframe?

We just sent back signed contracts and cashiers check for our first resale contract. Thanks to this board we got a great deal and are very happy.

We will immediately buy direct 25 points as soon as we have a member number.

We are February SSR. Will this likely be available immediately for 25 points direct?
I've read that we can pay by cc and get points very quickly. But how long will it take to get the actual card?

Since we mailed contract today, we should close soon and get the last two weeks of Disney processing time started. Maybe by mid-may we have that behind us and can go for the direct? Would we have our card by a previously scheduled cash reservation starting 6/4?

SSR is a very large resort, so the numbers are in your favor of Disney have points available for direct purchase.

After you set up your on-line account -- there's a link somewhere to generate a virtual card.

You can actually use an online virtual card to get discounts/access to member perks, so you don't need the physical card.

I don't recall how long it took to get our membership card last year, so I'm not sure if 2 weeks is enough time.

Virtual card? Just on your phone from the website? Or like in your apple wallet?

You login to the website on your iPhone and pull up the virtual card-and then do a screenshot of it so you have a copy that you can pull up quickly.
