Resale borrowing glitch still there

I recently had an unusual manifestation of the resale borrowing glitch (I assume that's why I got the dwarves today)...

A month or so ago I booked a reservation at the Beach Club that required me to borrow 12 points. It went through online with no problems.

Around that time, I made another reservation at my home resort (AKV) that required me to borrow 15 points. That went through online with no problems.

Yesterday, I made a reservation at Aulani that required me to borrow 90+ points. That went through online with no problems.

Today, I attempted to modify a reservation at AKV (not the one with borrowed points referenced above). It originally didn't use any borrowed points, but my modification (adding nights and changing to savanna view) required me to borrow 36 points to make the change. DWARVES!

I know that I properly managed my borrowing to ensure that each contract was under the 50% borrowing limitation, so that wasn't the issue.

Thankfully, I was able to use chat feature and MS borrowed for me and modified the reservation in about 10-15 minutes.

Resale glitch seems to be the only explanation. But I just thought it was interesting how it randomly popped up today when trying to modify an existing reservation, but I was able to borrow points repeatedly over the past several months to make reservations online without triggering it.

Do you have three different contracts / home resorts? It seems you used a different contract for each of the first three reservations and then for the 4th reservation used one of the contracts again and that reservation failed. I wonder if the software is set up to borrow only one time from each contract as well as allow only 50% of the total?

Not quite. But you may be on to something. I have two resale contracts. Both are AKV, but one is deeded at Jambo and the other at Kidani. I had been borrowing only from the Kidani contract until yesterday, when I hit the 50% limit and then had to borrow the last 9 points from the Jambo contract.

Up until that point, I was able to borrow repeatedly from the Kidani contract without any glitch. But trying to modify today was the second time I was borrowing from the Jambo contract. That could account for why it didn't happen until now for the Jambo contract. Still not sure why I was able to borrow 2-3 times from the Kidani contract without any problem, but we're talking about a glitch after all, so I guess I'm not surprised it might be erratic.

I think it is related to how the contracts were originally set up. Perhaps during a certain time frame, errors were made. That could explain why only some resale resale contracts and some direct contracts are effected. But I'm just guessing based on other reports. Sorry the glitch affected you. Wish they'd get it fixed.
