Resale and Dues?

If you purchase your DVC contract through Resale do you still have the option of having your dues directly debited from your checking account monthly or do you have to make one annual payment?

I just posted...we passed RofR!!! That means you're next!!

Anyway...to answer your ques...our resale agent told us that the first year's dues have to be paid at closing. Then, after that you can pay month to month if you wish!!

We bought through resale a couple of years ago. When we closed (it was in September) the seller, who had paid their dues for the year and had banked over 3/4 of their points for that use year (October), stipulated that one of the conditions of the sale was that we reimburse them for dues for that year.

The next year, I was able to set up a direct draft from my checking account for the dues.

Thank you! We have agreed to pay dues for all 2004 pts still available (there are not many) at closing. So probably 2005 Dues, I should be able to set up direct debit.
