An II Cust. Rep called me about 10am. She said that the II tech people recreated the event(II words), and that I booked a request for a 3 bedroom villa... and in the umteen years she had worked there she had never seen a 3 bed villa available. So I asked why it had come up avail for the time/room I had searched for and it allowed me to book it? She said it just happened and the techs can't get it to happen again.... I asked if it could be a "ghost" as the II tech visiting Sunterras home office in L.Vegas had said last Thur. She said " Oh,NO, never! Absolutely NOT!" but had no idea how it got in the system.
So II is now searching any/all DVC for a accomdation that will hold all 8 of us Oct 13 to the 18.... NOT going to happen, and sure glad I have a backup at EVC Grand Beach... hurricanes willing...
So there was not a 3 Bed Villa avail. never has been and prob never will be....
And strangly that makes me feel a little better, ' cause if I owned DVC ( in the future, DH willing...), I would not like it if a non DVC could get a Villa and I could not!
