For those that have done it, do you want to ride it again after seeing it? We are going in a couple weeks and was wondering if I would want to use a FP+ on multiple days instead of say Space Mountain or Splash. So for those that have done it what is it worth? Oh, I won't have kids with me.

We rode it today with the kids 6 and 4 and it was great we have another fast pass for tomorrow but we might change that to splash mountain
Only problem with using fast pass is that you don't get to see/use any of the interactive stuff in the standby line
But then the standby was 75minutes and we were on and off within 5 mins using fast pass.

I'd get one FP so that you have a chance to ride it without a wait.

Frankly, though, I am absolutely shocked at how SHORT the standby line is for a brand new ride (as in technically it isn't even supposed to officially open until tomorrow, lol). They never really did much of a soft opening, the opened it for the 24 hour day last Friday and have been offering FP+ since.....we did our FP+ at 7:20 tonight and the standby was 75 minutes posted. My girls decided they wanted to ride again, so I went and found a comfy seat at Village Haus thinking I had 75 minutes at least......they were done with the ride and sitting down at the table with me in 55 minutes. Sure a FP is better than an almost hour long wait, but this is opening week for this ride and that's as long as the wait is? By the time you come it may be half that long.

It was an okay ride......a much slower moving train than BTMR and while it has a few fun twists and turns, still not comparable to BTMR for thrills. Now....my opinion, that makes 7DMT the perfect alternative for those with kids who aren't quite ready for the speed and thrill of BTMR.

I must say I was disappointed at how cheesy the "jewel mine" scene was....big honking plastic "jewels" stuck randomly to the wall and the Dwarfs swinging picks, etc....Dopey with two big jewels stuck in his eyes. Looked like the jewels you can buy at the dollar store, only bigger, but same cheap look. It all seemed very tacky and not at all Disney's usual classy scenarios.

The scene of Snow dancing with Dopey was cute, but again, the theme inside the cabin just didn't seem to have the detail that I expected, and the animatronics seemed very stilted.

Not sure if I was expecting too much, or if Disney truly failed to deliver their usual quality. Would be interested in others opinion on this point.

We loved it, especially at night. Rode 3 times all together. We expect the standby line to move more slowly once a full compliment of FP+ (booked in advance + kiosk) are in effect.

We noticed the cars seemed to be swinging more the third time we rode, (on Monday). Could be that we sat closer to the front. The sway seems to be influenced somewhat by the riders, we were trying to lean heavily into the curves, and it helped. I think. :thumbsup2

One of the times on Friday, we had a rowdy fun group of guests, mostly guys, working the spinning jewel barrels. Get ALL of them to top speed at the same time, and Snow White appears on the ceiling after all the Dwarfs. It takes effort and co-operation of several guests though, and some are on a different part of the ride queue. The crowd cheered each time she appeared. This was during the 24 hour day, at about 5 AM, LOL. The barrels seemed harder to turn on Monday, and even the Dwarfs were not appearing. Maybe it was on the fritz.

We rode twice on 24 hour day. I was not at all disappointed in the Diamond mine, but guess I was thinking animated rather than expecting real diamonds! ;) Loved the interactive parts in the queue, and as most rides, really appreciated the details more on the second trip through than the first. Lots of details in the dwarf section, sure to notice more each time!

~OMG, the mine train looks so fabulous! I cannot wait to ride this!!! I already know I will have to ride this twice each time I am in MK -- once during the day & once at night! :cool1:

Okay, you sold me. I think my wife will like it better as she isn't a big coaster person, so thinking it will be better for just the two of us instead of Space.

I plan to ride it twice. Once during the day and once at night. I also want to ride it from the front once and once from the back. I heard it's more thrilling at night and in the back.

I liked it a lot more at night. Felt a lot faster.

We rode it once at night and loved it. Going back Sunday to try it during the day! I thought the inside of the mine was really cute, but I'm easy to please.

I reserved my FPs for daytime and then a nighttime ride the next day. Want to experience it twice in both settings....
