Requests when you make ressie??

Just wondering how much to request when I make my ressies?? I would like Zebra Trail arusha sav. Do I mention that when I call or wait to fax?? Also going to ask to be near the elevator..Just wondering what to ask and what to wait to fax...thanks..amy

I always request what I want when I make the reservation. Some people say to fax the info a day or two before your arrival. I've never done that.

I typically don't want close to the elevator simply because of the noise. People coming and going all the time and usually they don't come and go quietly. LOL After I've been up all night at PI, I don't care for the yelling at 7 in the morning.

Keep requests simple and be sure to prioritize them. List your most important request first, then 2nd most important and so on. Always remember that they are requests, not guarantees. (I don't know many people who do want to be close to the elevator, but eventually someone's going to end up in those rooms.)

When I made a reservation for CBR my last trip, the CM practically made my requests for me! All I asked for was non-smoking, near fd court; she then made suggestions i.e. "Would you like ground level? It's nicer than having to climb stairs all the time," etc. It was great. And we got all that she said.
