Celebrated DD's 5th and 6th at WDW in January 2003 and 2004. Both times had a birthday meal at CP. Both times the waitress brought a complimentary cupcake--after checking with me, of course. At 1900PF dinner, the hostess inquired if we wanted to purchase a cake in 1/2003. (I thought it was $15.95 or $19.95). I declined and they brought Victoria a free cupcake.
Nice story about 1900PF. I must give special kudos to Sandy, our server for dinner at 1900 Park Faire in 1/2003 and 5/2003. She had been our server in January 03 when we were celebrating Victorias birthday. Victoria became quite ill during that trip. She had spent the day in bed, but got up to go to Cinderellas dinner. Unfortunately, she wasnt up to it and ate only a few spoonfuls of Jell-o. She didnt even touch the birthday cupcake Sandy brought her or want to wait in line to see Cinderella, her all-time favorite. We wound up at the hospital that evening where she diagnosed with walking pneumonia. Anyway, when we returned in 5/03, Sandy remembered that she had served us before and I mentioned that we had been in to celebrate Victorias birthday, but that she hadnt felt well, so we were bringing her back to try again. Sandy remembered that Victoria had spent the meal with her head on the table. Well, towards the end of the meal Sandy walks in our general direction with a birthday cupcake and makes an announcement that Victoria was back to celebrate her birthday! It was so kind of her to help Victoria re-do her real birthday trip to 1900 Park Faire and really started that trip on a very magical note for us.
