Requesting building at Pop Century.

How do I request a specific building @ Pop Century? Do I call the reservation line or Pop Century itself? How close to our trip should I do this?

Can anyone suggest a building to stay at? I was thinking 70's or 80's to give dh and I blasts from the past.

Call now... call the reservation line.
It depends if you are paying for a preferred room on where to stay. For preferred I would ask for 60's or 70's.
For non preferred I would ask for 70's or 80's if that is what you like. 70's is close to the food court and busses. 80's isn't as close but as long as you use the outer walkway it is okay. Don't go through the 70's building area to get to the main building.

Thanks for the advice...we are paying for preferred so I will request the 70's.

We've stayed in the 70s twice. It's very close to the bus stops and the main building. That's also where the Goofy squirt area (which my kids love) and the playground are located.

Make your request now, but if you wind up getting a room somewhere else you can always ask again at check-in. During our last trip, we were told we would be in the 90s, but asked if there was anything available in the 70s. The CM called and we were given a perfect room. We just had to wait until later that afternoon for it to be available.

Just make sure that the request is noted on your ressie. Requests are just that...requests. I've never gotten what I've wanted when I've requested something and last year I finally spoke up. They immediately fixed it. I'll be speaking up more often now!
