At what point can you request a specific room? I will be staying at pofq in june! thanks!

You can add a request to your reservation at any time. You can call yourself or if you used a ta, they can do it for you.

I would make sure your area requests are on your reservation. Requesting a specific room pretty much sets you up for a let down. Building and area along with smoking and non smoking are your best bets.

You can fax about 3 days prior but be warned there are some resorts that flat out state no faxing IE WL. And some reports say that other room assignors are no longer looking at faxes. So, make sure your request are on your reservation.

From what I've heard, getting a specific room that you requested is unlikely. You'd do better to note on your reservations when you make them, or shortly after the general type of room--smoking or non smoking, bunk beds, corner room, etc. I believe you can also request a certain building, (we have). Just remember, they are only requests and you might not get them.

If they don't know your requests, only a single room number, you might be out of luck. If someone just checked into that room the day before you, then you have nothing that they can compare to. Give them the views/types of rooms that you want - smoking/non-smoking, handicapped/non-handicapped., etc.
