Requesting a room at SSR

Hi all,

DBF and I are counting down the days to our next WDW vacation...and our first ever trip to SSR. We have heard that this is a very big resort and that it *might* be worth sending Disney an email before we arrive requesting a specific location to help make our stay all the more magical.

I've never done this before and was wondering if anybody had any handy tips or tricks on how to go about this? I'm sure they have hundreds of requests coming through all the time so completely understand that my request might not get granted but am hopeful for a little sprinkle of pixie dust if you don't ask you don't get, right?

SSR is a DVC resort and DVC asks guests not to send faxes or letter but you add your requests to your reservation. If you are a DVC member, contact Member Services to add your request. If you are booking through Disney and not DVC, contact Disney Reservation Center and add your request. If you do online check in, you might find what you need there as well.

You also might want to check the DVC Resorts board....they can give you a ton of info as to building locations.

depends on what you want. Grandstand area was nice. First bus stop. We were less than five minutes from hospitality house and the pool was quiet. Congress Park has the view DTD and the bridge to there.

Depends on what your "wishes" are.
