Reporting Live from The Nick Hotel!

Hi all

I just wanted to write a quick post, and tell you how much fun we are having at the Nick Hotel! I can tell you, I was absolutely terrified of what I would find here, after all the horrible reviews I have read. Let me assure you, it is nothing like you have read! No bugs, no rude personnel, no torn up small rooms. I am very very pleased with what I have found here, and would definitely stay again without a second thought. Quite honestly, the food isn't all that bad here neither. I thought it was going to be horrible, but it is not. We have found the night shows to be a blast, the pools are out of this world, the room is plenty big for a family of 4, the bus to Disney is on time and a nice ride, and the grounds are beautiful. We have had an outstanding time so far, and still have almost a week left. Please, those of you who have booked a room for this hotel, put your fears to rest. *Of course I know everyone's expectations are different, and I also know you could have a completely different experience, in another room, etc., but after all the horrible reviews I have read, it was such a pleasant surprise to find none of it is true in our stay. Only 2 things I don't care for in the rooms are 1)The placement of the TV in the main bedroom 2) 2 out of the 3 TV's do not have a clear picture at all, as in staticy reception.

We stayed there when it was called the Holiday Inn Family Suites and really liked it.
Had a look around when the renovation work was on-going and it looked even better, would still stay there but just prefer the extra room a villa provides.

Hi,
We leave for the Nick in two weeks. I'm more worried about the weather than the hotel. I have stayed there twice before it was nick and I loved it. This whole trip is planned just for this Hotel. Well I guess we will get to the parks to, but the Hotel is the big attaction for us.
