report from WDW today

Well, I'll let ya'll be jealous along with me....I have friends at "the world" today. Drove down yesterday and leave next Thursday. They (two families)
rented a 5 br home with a heated indoor pool!!!
They were in MK today when they called. Said it was in the 80's. Doesn't that make you snowbunnies green with envy? It's stormed here all day, so it sounded good to me too. They've got a rough week for it, but as long as they'll get up and going early, maybe they can salvage a good time. Kids are boy 3 (only child), and then boy 3, and two elementary age sisters.
The two little boys are sharing a room with twin beds and think they're in heaven!
He's not interested in seeing MM....he's looking for Cindy!!!

I am on leave and my Mom has next week off. It is so tempting to head south and be nice and warm!

its very warm here right now but us floridians are eagerly awaiting our cold front coming through this coming week

We will be there next week for the "cold front" ... I think they are predicting 55. Sounds really nice to someone from Minnesota!

The nice weather didn't last. We saw people on New Years Day at Disney freezing in their shorts and t-shirts as the temps dropped throughout the day. Wednesday and Thursday, not only was it cold, the wind was blowing very hard all day making it worse. We wore longjohn bottoms, coats and gloves and were still not warm. It got down to 28 one night and about the same another. When we left yesterday, the forecast was for warm weather for the weekend.

Yes it was cold.
I am not a native Floridian, I have lived here several yrs and this is the warmest winter we have had. I welcomed the cold. But it did not last long.
Another cold front is coming next week. I just want it to last at least a wk.
I am one of the few people that would like to wear a jacket in Disney.
