The wristbands for the Dreamfinder/Figment pin were gone prior to the opening of EPCOT. My FL connection didn't get one! But I appreciate their valient effort.

My FL connection didn't get one either; he showed up (literally) 2 minutes too late. The good news is that the pins are still sitting in their warehouse, so shipment was delayed. Therefore, at least some people won't be willing to wait and will leave. If you know anybody that got standby wristbands, they might have a chance. We'll see!

Friends were able to get me one but, what a day! If I had known, I would have told them to forget it! They got wristbands and then went to breakfast. When they got back, the line was verrryyyy lonnggg! So they stood in line, only to find out the pins weren't there but you could pay for them and either pick them up in the afternoon or have them mailed (for free). The one thing Disney did do right was there was a rain storm while everyone was standing in line. They handed out free ponchos. Friends didn't trust Disney to get the mail right so they went back in the afternoon and picked up the pins. What they described in their email sounded like a major nightmare.

We were up at 5am...in line at the autogate at 6:30...and there were a lot there ahead of us....We all got our wristbands, and went to breakfast..only to find out that the shipment was stalled (good description) so we had a choice...buy the pins, get a voucher, pick them up later, or have them mailed to you at Disneys' expense....

We got our voucher...ran around some of the other parks, and went back and got our pins...

This is a short version of a very very long, interesting story..

But we did end up getting all pins from all parks....Woo Hoo..
