Yes both groups are offering a "Personal Service" which opens up the Tipping debate that I always want to avoid.

Yea but it’s important to know because otherwise you end up in a situation like I did before where I thought the first guy was also bringing the stuff to my room so I tipped according then had to scramble when I found out it actually wasn’t them bringing it to my room
 
Has anyone used the pre-pay option for guaranteed early check-in or late check-out? I did a search and didn't see an answer but may not have put the best criteria in. I noticed these paid options on the welcome email that I received from the Dolphin. I do realize that this benefit can fluctuate with tier status. I would be paying in full which for my July date is $125 for early check-in.

Since I started moving my Marriott points out to my preferred airline every month, I have lost my Marriott status which is fine with me.

Has anyone ran in to issues linking your Swan/Dolphin stay to MDE lately?
It's been a few months since I've done it and in the past it's worked perfectly well
Trying to link my next stay, for the past week. and it continues to say it can't be located.
I'm positive the confirmation number and last name are correct as shown on my confirmation booking. The booking shows with Bonvoy.
In the end it's not a huge deal if it won't link, have no real reason to link it but found it odd that I can't. Didn't know if maybe something had changed

I linked one successfully within the past few weeks.

I did have an issue recently. I waited well over a week. It still told me it couldn’t find it. I modified the reservation (price went down) and within a couple days, it then allowed me to link. I think that change initiated the push needed to send the info to Disney. If you don’t need/want to make any changes, you probably need to call the swan or dolphin directly and ask them to resend your info to Disney.

Yes. I have had problems linking my conf. number to MDE over the past few days. The Dolphin sent me to WDW reservations and they said that the Dolphin never did send over the reservation. They then transferred me to WDW IT who said that my conf number was not typical for what they usually see. They could not help me.
Finally spoke to the Dolphin’s guest services and the gentleman said that he would send an email to WDW to correct the issue. That was at 9am and I still can’t connect. I’ll give it another day.

I’ve been going through this process yearly and this is the first time I’ve had a problem.

My confirmation just went through to MDE.

Maybe try the Dolphin service line and they can send an email over as they did with my reservation.

Anyone else sitting on a good chunk of points and want to book here but then see the parking fee and resort fee early almost $100 and just struggle to justify it when somewhere like pop is just double the price (sometimes not even double) and can save the points.
