Reply from Terri Schultz re DVC AP return

How far off would you think Disney parks are for returning to 100% capacity. What percent are they at now?
My understanding is that they were planning incremental increases "In the low double digits." Certainly by October they will be at 100%, but it certainly could happen prior to that (barring unforeseen issues.)

That’s cool. Hopefully before October because I need to make a decision whether to buy day tickets or not. That’s why people are frustrated. We’re trying to use our points so they don’t expire but we have to buy a bunch of day passes if we want to go to the park.

I’d be happy if they’d just make a statement regarding the application of day pass funds toward an AP.

I called the VIP Passholder number and confirmed I'm eligible for an Annual Pass replacement as I had to cancel my AP last year due to the virus. Waiting for the call that they say will come within 30 days. Have two trips planned - November and January. Already bought tickets for November ($1100 for two people - single park only - 6 days) but really hope I can get the AP applied to the already bought tickets (and whatever replacement fee they may charge) to avoid spending another $1100 for January. Fingers crossed.
