Replacing MagicBands when you have an AP

The comments on the Disney Parks blog post indicated that it had to be linked to MDE with active tickets at the time of purchase. You couldn't buy it and link it yourself later.

Oh I plan to. I was just curious if anyone else has tried this.

Nothing would be worse than being locked out of your room because of something like this.

I've used multiple MagicBands several times now.
