Renting thru Disney Collection

We just purchased a resale at the BWV and we are wondering if it is difficult to reserve rooms through the Disney Collection (we realize they are more points)...we could not seem to get a clear answer on this from a Disney rep or our resale rep. Any feedback?

It's not difficult at all!

MS will handle all of the details. They often can't give an immediate reservation, since they have to call the other resort to make arrangements, but the process is very simple. Just call, let them know your dates and resort and they'll take care of the reservation.

Trica..... we did the same thing... used our first points to book a DC room at both the Poly and the BC (before the villas opened up) They often need to call like Doc said and will call you back either later in the day or the next day....

Just call MS when you have your membership number and they will talk you through it!

I booked The Poly Concierge for this coming January, and MS actually put me on hold while they booked it!

The only "limitation" is availability at the non-DVC resort. Obviously, you will not be able to get a room if the resort is totaly booked, but there are not a set number of rooms reserved for DVC members.

I booked AKL Concierge, a long weekend about five or six months out. Easy as pie, a couple minutes with MS, then I never again spoke to MS regarding this trip. I had the AKL Concierge pre-planning number, they took care of everything, all the reservations, shows, everything.

It was very easy.
