Renting pts. and combining with yours for a reservation

We will be having a family reunion Oct 2003 and will be needing more accommodations then our points will provide. How hard is it to rent pts. and combine them with your pts. to make one reservation? Does this effect the 11 month window?
Can points be rented and just put into your account or does the other person need to make the reservation for their pts.?
If you can think of any other info that might help that I'm forgeting please include.

to make the reservation all linked together. otherwise the other member has to make a reservation in your name. if you are interested, I happen to have 90 BCV points for that time period that I was going to put on the rent/trade board. I would be willing to do a transfer - email me if you're interested.

If you want all of the points to have the 11 month window, you will have to find an OKW owner to transfer the extra points to your account. Transferred points retain their original home resort and use year. Good luck!
