If you rent out your points, is there any liability to the DVC member if damage occurs to the room during their stay?

Someone will post the passage, but yes, there is language in the DVC contracts that makes the owner responsible for the damages done by renters.

Charge more, rent to families or other seemingly responsible adults, don't rent. No way to guarantee. A contact wouldn't help you unless you're willing to pursue it so unless it's in your state I wouldn't even bother.
