renting points

i am new to renting i think it is a great idea but i am unsure how you check if the person who is renting you the points is trust worthy?

we will be coming from scotland and dont want to end up with no accommidation! can anyone tell me what to do?

forgot a big one - a bargin isn't always a bargin - if someone is offering their points for $5 or $6 instead of $9 and up - beaware.

now if they gonna lose them next month - that is one thing.

the only renters who I know got cheated was because of this type of thing.
