We are renting points from a good friend for a 3 night trip. Is it still possible to get some sort of dining plan? If so, what is the deal? Additionally we only want to go to the parks for two days and probably not even get a hopper option. I guess optimally what we'd like is a two day dining plan with our two day ticket. Is that even an option? Suggestions?

You can add the dining plan for the 3 days....as far as tickets go, I'm not sure if they offer a 2 day pass or not. I would check WDW web site and check out the tickets.

How do I find out how much the dining plan costs when purchased alone? Can I get it for just two days if we are staying for three nights?

The dining plan can be added to your stay, but has to be added by the DVC member (you would pay for it at check in) and is for the length of stay. You purchase your own tickets, what ever type you would like from where ever you would like to order them from.

The dining plan would need to be for all three nights of the reservation. The standard plan (for 2008) is approx. $38 per night per adult and $10 per child (9 and under) per night. This is the same basic plan as last year, EXCEPT it no longer includes appetizer or server gratuity.

The deluxe plan includes 3 meals per day, your choice of Counter Service or Table Service, includes appetizer, 2 snack items, but still no gratuity. It also includes one refill mug per person. It is approx $70 per adult per night and $20 per child per night.
