Renting points in holding???

I'm having to cancel a reservation at a DVC resort, but I hate to lose those points to Holding. Are there any other options like renting them to non-members or exchanging them?

Sure, existing reservations may be rented within 30 days of arrival on our DVC Rent/Trade Board. Even with the Holdiong Account, you would not lose the points, but they would be restricted where reservations could only be made within 60 days of arrival.

Since you are new to the DIS, you'd need to purchase the Gold rental plan in order to use our rental board. You can read about using the board in the **How to use this Board** thread near the top of the Rent/Trade Board.

If the holding points are current UY then they also can be transferred to another member. If they were banked or borrowed though they cannot.
