renting points-can I check the ressie?

HI, all.
Just wondering, we're renting points for next week & I understand that I can't call MS to check on the ressie, but can I call the hotel a day or 2 to make sure the ressie is all legit & good to go, just to settle our nerves of renting & not having a room? That's why we just bought in!!

Yes, you can call the resort a few days before arrival to verify the reservation. They will not have the reservation until that time, so there is no benefit to call a month prior since the reservation is still being maintained by DVC at that time.
