What is the best way to get to and from the Car Care Center from a Disney resort? Is taxi the only/best option? Thanks!

We have used them 2 times. Each time we called and arranged a pick up time and they arrived with a shuttle to take us to the Car Care Center.

This is what our confirmation from Alamo said:

To arrange for shuttle service you must call (407) 824-3470 for pick-up between 1 hour and 1 day prior to the time you want to be picked up.

Pick up is available Mon-Fri 7am-6pm; Sat-Sun 8am-6pm and Holidays 8am-6pm.

My husband took the shuttle to get the car so I do not know if he tipped but if I had to guess I would say he did not (he is not cheap but I don't think it would have occurred to him to tip).

We use the pick up shuttle all the time. They do have specific times for each resort, so you have to call and get on the pick-up list which is closest to your reservation. We do tip the driver both ways.

How is the car selection there? Do they have a kiosk to check in like the airport, do you just grab whatever car you want in your aisle and proceed to the exit with your paperwork, and Id and DL and credit card info?
