While you can use points at many WDW hotels, you cannot use them at any hotel which also has an associated
DVC resort. This means you can't use points for regular rooms at the Boardwalk, Wilderness Lodge, or Beach Club.
So no, you can't use points for BWI.
You didn't ask, but generally it's a bad idea to use points for WDW hotel rooms anyway since they're fairly high. By the time you pay for points (around $10 is the going rental rate), you'd wind up paying more per night than the regular cash rate for the hotel.
Example:Say you wanted to go to the Poly, during regular season, and stay in a Standard Room. That's 38 points for a weekday, and 68 points for a weekend day. At $10/point, you're looking at $338 to $680/night.
Rent points for the Grand Floridian for a single night (Friday), Concierge, at Christmas, you're looking at 173 points, or if renting, about $1730.00 for one night.
The absolute cheapest pointwise is 28 points for a Garden Standard view at the Contemporary, Sun - Thurs, during Value season, at 28 points/night. If renting points, that's about $280/night. That same room goes for 31 points during Regular Season, 36 points peak season, and 40 points holiday season.
If a weekend night, the same room goes for 50, 56, 65, and 72 points/night.
Move up to a Garden View room, and you've got 32, 35, 41, 46 points/night weekdays, or 58, 63, 74, 83 points/night for a weekend.
Multiply those point numbers by $10, and you get the idea.
If you want to rent points, use them for a DVC resort.
You'll probably find much better deals looking for cash rates.
