I know that I can use an ECV on a Disney Cruise but has anyone had experience doing this? Has anyone rented a scooter and had it delivered directly to the ship terminal? Who did you use? Where did you pick it up and drop it off?

While on the ship did you keep the scooter in your room or did your steward help you find a location to store it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Post 13 in the FAQs at the top of this board gives a lot of info on cruises.

I have not been on a Disney cruise yet, but have been on several other lines. You will need an accessible room in order to get the ECV into the room. You can't just park it in the hall because it would block other cruisers and the housekeeping carts. Others have said that your stateroom host can park it for you, but that would mean it wasn't handy if you have difficulty walking.

I always take my own ECV so I am not familiar with rental places, but I believe some are listed in the FAQs.

Also be aware that, depending on your itinerary, you may not find it in many, if any, ports of call.

Go look on the disabled travelers board on CruiseCritic, they have all the rental and room info you need, also lots of people who have been in your shoes to help.
