Renting DVC and buying DDP?

How does that work? I was looking and it looks like we could rent points and stay at the AKLV for like $110 night for a studio. Can we still get the DDP?

I've been thinking of getting AP so we could go again next year..and now it looks like they are going to offer the DDP to AP holders if they book a room.

And I thought my head was spinning before!

Yes- the member reserves it for you and you pay for it at check in. No ticket purchase is required when you are staying DVC on points but everyone in the studio/villa needs to have the DDP for the length of stay.

I saw info on my allears newsletter that you can book a room/DDP package if you have an AP (proof of AP required at check in) It said something about after today's date on the info.

As long as the member makes the reservation for you, they can add the DDP to the reservation. We used DVC points for our last trip, and to reserve our upcoming trip, and we had the dining plan for both as well.
