Does anyone here have any experience renting an RV for a WDW vacation at FW (or anything else)? Is it a cost effective option? Any resources or links that anyone could steer me towards? I'm brand new to FW but since I have annual passes, I thought this would be a great time to try it.
But sometimes, it's the best answer. It was for us back in 1997. We had always wondered if we would like traveling in a motorhome and we wanted to bring our cat with us and still stay on Disney property. Renting from Cruise America let us do all of these. It wasn't cheap, but it was a great vacation. We found out we really loved camping, not tent camping anymore (we're too old for that
), but more comfortable camping. And we totally fell in love with Fort Wilderness! So much so, that we bought a pop-up and then later graduated to a travel trailer. If you can afford it and want to try renting an RV, go for it. We never regretted it.

so the ol' food cost can add up real fast if eating out.
