Hi all. We had planned on staying onsite for our next trip in 2009 but are now leaning towards off site since we have a larger family and could save more $$$ by renting offsite.
When we went in Oct. 07 we rented from Condotels of the Magic World. They were nice but we were looking for something this time with more modern amenities. But, we're also looking for some that have the same kind of rental policies. We're looking for one that has at least 3 bedrooms and doesn't charge a security deposit or charges a very low one. I realize you get that back but I'd rather not have to deal with that if possible, does that make sense? We're very clean and neat. We're also going to be on a strict budget.
I know I had found a condo that was perfect, in Windsor Hills, it was a couple who rented out I think, 4 different condos that were failry new. But...I deleted the link in my favs when we picked onsite. :worried: :headache: Don't ask me why I did that, really wish I hadn't.
Anyway, any input or opinions on places is welcome.

Some owners offer the ability to authorize the security deposit against your credit card - this means it is not charged unless there are any issues. I don't know of anyone specifically with a townhome/condo that offers this option.

Although it seems like a lot of money against a security deposit, at the end of the day - if there are any major issues, a security deposit often doesn't cover all of the costs involved. Most people are great and there are only things like the odd glass broken (minor things). It just takes one thing - for example, a young child that gets loose with non-washable markers and draws on bedding, furniture, wall - something like that can cause thousands of dollars worth of damage.

This maybe the link you want but they only rent Sat - Sat:

Anything in Windsor Hills is at the most 3 yrs old. The condos and townhouses were built in 2005 and in the new section there's still pool homes being built. The original section is completed.

That was exactly the link I was looking for! ::yes:: Have you had any experience with them?
The Sat - Sat is perfect, those are our dates anyway. :yay:

No we haven't but I've read lots of good reviews about them. Sat - Sat doesn't usually work for us. I looked up their ownership on the tax records and everything checked out. One DISer knows the couple and said they're legit. They have a very good deal and I wouldn't hesitate to rent from them if the dates would work for us.
