I have noticed alot of you like to shop around. Reserving your rental car then cancelling if a better deal comes around. We are taking advantage of the Free Dining promotion in September. We went ahead and reserved our trip and priced it with a rental car. We are going to need a toddler car seat as well as a infant car seat which I told the Disney CSM. I was playing with prices on the Alamo website today and noticed that it costs $9.99/day to rent a car seat which I didn't know. The CSM didn't inform me of this nor does the Disney website say anything about it (they have drop downs for requesting car seats if you price packages online). Does the price that Disney quote you include the car seats you request? Or do you get hit with that additional charge later?
As a general rule is it better to deal with Alamo directly or to go thru Disney? Which is easier and less of a hassle? If the price Disney has quoted me does not include the car seats then the Alamo website directly is cheaper it seems currently by about $50. Also, are the car seats pre-installed and ready for you ready for your arrival or do they just give them to you and expect you to install them?
