Renting a Tux

When you rent a tux and have it delivered to your stateroom, how much does it cost? (for a 7 night if that makes a difference)

To rent locally. Check with your local formal wear shops.
for $65 each, my husband and son, got the Tux, 2 vests with bowties and tie combinations, 2 shirts, my son got shoes as my husband has his military dress shoes and they are much nicer than the rental shoes.
We hauled them with us for our 7 night. IT worked great and we were able to try them on before we left and verify that they fit.

That depends on your local tux rental shop. Ours charges by the weekend, and since we would have kept the 3 we needed over two weekends, the local shop was higher than cruiselineformal.com.

And since we spent a few days at WDW before our cruise, we didn't have to lug them around with us.

Check out eBay - I just bought a tux jacket & pants for $50 and found a shirt locally for $25. The tux is from a rental store & looks like new. Also found a Mickey Mouse vest & Tie as well as a Genie vest at eBay!

It was $65 each set for the week. We flew out on A Wednesday previous and returned on Saturday night so we had them for about 10 days. We also got the vests etc. which you have to pay extra for on the onboard rental.

I agree with tstobb. I bought a wool tuxedo jacket on Ebay, and the pants, shirt, tie and cummerbund locally, and spent just about the same as the rental price. Now, I own a beautiful tux, it's sized perfect, and I won't have to rent one on my next cruise!

You can also check with your local tuxedo shops. They often sell their inventory at greatly reduced prices.

Another option to check into is S&K Men'swear. A little more expensive perhaps but around here a tux rental runs about $80-$105. DH picked up everything: jacket, trousers, shirt, studs, cufflinks, cummberbund & tie for just under $200. Now he wants a Mickey set but maybe Santa will take care of that!

I also got a tux for DH off of Ebay. $81 for jacket, pants, suspenders, and cumberbun. Looks great & fits great too! Now I just have to find the shirt & a new pair of shoes!
