Renting a car at Disney???

We are going to CBR in October for a week. We have family nearby that we would like to visit for a day- is it possible to rent a car at Disney? Does Disney transportation take you to the car rental location? This is our first trip and there are 4 of us- DH, DS 4, DS 2 and myself.

I also thought about renting a car at MCO for the week. This may sound wierd, but I thought that DH could drive to Disney, and the boys and I could take the free shuttle from DIsney. This way, they will take all of our luggage!

Any advice?

Sounds fine. But no DT does not take you to the car rental locale. The rental agency may have a shuttle that can come get you though.

Suggest you all take the free shuttle and rent a car onsite at WDW. Both Alamo and National have rental offices in the Dolphin Hotel and at the CCC (they have a shuttle that will pick you up from your resort). You don't have to pay the airport concession fees if you rent from either of these.

Thanks for the idea. I tried it out and it still came to more than Enterprise for me. It may be the thing for others though.
