Renting a car AKL

Is it possible to rent a car at the AKL? We plan on doing the Disney cruise line land and sea vacation and will be using Disney transfers to get from airport to hotel and from hotel to pier. But, we do want a rental car while staying at Disney. If there is not a car rental desk at AKL, does anyone know of a close place to rent in Disney?

There is not a car rental location at AKL but there is one on WDW property. I think it is near Downtown Disney. I believe it is National. Maybe someone else can tell you exactly where it is.

Like the previous thread mentioned, National has service at the Dolphin and the Disney Car Care Center.. don"t know where that is though... HTH anyways...

There is a National rental place on disney property and I believe it is near MK. We had rented a car from National at the airport and by the 4th day, we had a flat tire in the AKL parking lot. We called National and they sent their van to pick us up and take us to the rental center to get another car. Maybe they would send a van to pick you up at AKL if you wanted to rent while at Disney only. The can driver was very nice and friendly and from New England so we had a nice chat while on the way.

We rented a car to drive to the beach for a day from Budget. They came and picked us up and drove us to their office which is in the Doubletree or something like that in Downtown Disney. I also used Budget from the airport last month so that we could drive to the port for our cruise after 2 days at Disney. They have an office at the port. It was cheaper than Disney transfers
