Rental Car

Not sure if this belongs here or not.Myself,dh,dd and her friend will be flying into mco aug 6th,staying at disney for 5 nights then transferring to hrh for 4 nights.Here is the question...5 more family members will be joing us at hrh(flying in on the 11th)Should we return the rental car back to the airport on the 11th and get transportation for the whole family to hrh?Don't want to keep car as it will stay parked.We all need to get back to the airport on the 15th about the same time.Also any rental cars company suggestions??Thanks!

So, you all need to return to mco? I don't think you all will fit in your rental! I would return the car and rent car service....check the price. By the time you rent something big enough and pay to park it, you will probably be around the same price and less hassle!

Hertz is onsite at the hotels, we use the Budget at the Holiday Inn Universal on Kirkman. We have DBIL drive DH over to pick it up on our checkout day, but I DO believe they have pick-up service (come to hotel to pick you up). I think the code for that location w/ Budget is M04. Good luck!

I agree with Bubba's Mom. You can return the car to Hertz(at Portofino) or to Budget (I also seem to remember them having a pickup/drop off for free) and when it comes time for checkout, use a car service with a van to take you all to MCO

Once you are on property at Universal, you will not need the car.....and, this may sound mean - but, checkout at Disney property earlyish, check into HRH and enjoy the pool until the rest of the family arrives. You can use the bathrooms to change and bell services can hold your luggage.

This sounds like a great idea with the hertz idea!!I think that is what we will do!
