Rental Car reservations...

how many do you typically make while waiting for the prices to drop? Right now we have a reservation with National using a Car and Driver code and one free day coupon code. We are going 2/13-2/21 and for a fullsize it's $361.59. It's the lowest I've been able to find but there are a couple close ones. Should I also make reservations with those and see who's rates come down? At what point do you pick the one you'll stick with and cancel the others.

I make a reservation and watch like a hawk. When a cheaper reservation comes along, I make that reservation and cancel the old one. I do this as many times as I can until I leave for my trip..... it isn't uncommon for me to book and cancel 15-20 times over a 6 month period.... I am partial to Alamo and especially National, so I watch them very closely.
