Rental Car Pass 24

I am wondering if anyone has information about the rental car companies, Dollar specifically, and their Pass 24 program? We are going to be getting a rental car from Miami and traveling to Orlando for our upcoming Disney trip in September 2012. From what I am reading there will be electronic tolls only in that part of Florida. Does anyone know if I could just get a SunPass of my own for my rental car and avoid paying the rental car daily fee for Dollar's Pass 24 program? We are staying 14 days and it's too expensive to pay $6.99 a day! I don't know if their electronic system will "sense" a SunPass first before it takes a picture of the license plate or not? Thank you so much for any help you can give this DM on planning for our next trip!
