rental car for the day?

We are staying at the beach club villas in Dec. with my whole family. My DH and I have decided to go to Universal one day by ourselves. Is there a car rental place on disney's property or would it be cheaper to take a cab? We only want the car for one day.

There is National and someone else (Alamo, I think) at the Dolphin and at the WDW Car Care Center. We're statying at BCV and planning on pick a car up towards the end of our trip as we're going to Vero Beach for a few days.
