why can't anyone drive the car? I mean if my husband rents it under his name can't i drive it? i always have, i do have car insurance!

also, any great deals for Ft. Lauderdale - i need a mini van from 1/20 - 1/25 - i have a Dollar rate of $298.00 w/ taxes! seems Ft. Lauderdale is much more than Orlando?

Some rental companies let the spouse drive for free, some don't. If you use the Walmart or Costco ID code it includes an additional driver for Alamo.

2nd driver thing is a bummer for me too. I rented an SUV from Dollar in March for 10 days and it was $357.77, using the promo code AXTL. We are going to Fort Myers so this code should work for Fort Lauderdale. Only one driver though. Good luck
