Anyone know the current price for a rental boat that will hold 5 people. Also, any preferred rental location? Thank you.

We rented a pontoon boat last December at GF and had a great time! We loved it.

Thank you for that info & the maps, Robo. As usual, very informative and helpful.
I read the info on Intercot you provided, but saw no mention of the Boston Whalers. Have they been discontinued, do you know?
Again - thanks!

We like to rent at the Contemporary for fast access to a circle tour of Discovery Island and the abandoned River County.

Thank you! That is super helpful, we are looking for a couple of activities on our down days.

Is there any discount with an annual pass by any chance?

I believe it was announced in March that there would no longer be boat rentals at some locations:
- Downtown Disney (new design closed marina and took away space to do so with the new bridge.)
- Port Orleans
- Old Key West
- Saratoga Springs
- Caribbean Beach
- Coronado Springs (although I have yet to see marina open in years of stays)

They said it was because the vendor who provided cancelled the contract due to lack of rentals.

Disney's website still mentions the Boston Whalers. (Not that they are known for the worlds best websites)

I don't remember the price being less than the pontions. For family we found the larger shade canopy of the pontoon an advantage. (While still having a large sunny area)
