Rent VCR or DVD

We are staying at the BCV studio. I was wondering if the resort would rent us a VCR or DVD. Anybody have any experience with this request?

The DVC resorts do not rent VCRs or DVD players. You would have to bring your own or make arrangements with an off-site business. Perhaps some others will have recommendations regarding a place. The resorts do have VHS tapes and DVD movies that you can check out for no charge if you are a DVC member.

Re the other thread -

Our studios at BWV have not ever had a VCR or DVD in them. As far as I know, none of the studios in WDW DVD resorts have them. VB Inn rooms do have VCRs, but I don't know if the VB studios have them. No info on the studios at HHI.

edited to add that the charge for a DVD/VCR combo for a week would be $30...they deliver it to the resort, and it's brought up to your room when you check in..HTH!!

DVD's are free to only DVC members to "rent" or check out. all of the rooms (except the studios?) have a DVD player in them at the BCV.
