Rent Points for DCL

We recently rented points for our vacation in Aug. for the VWL. I am curious if a non-DVC member can rent points for Disney criuses?

I think so, but it would be cheaper to simply pay the cash rate through Disney. Whenever you trade out of the DVC resorts, the number of points required is not very economical. While owners may trade out occasionally with their points, it is not the wisest thing to do on a regular basis. The value of DVC is in their use at a DVC resort.
