Rent our points and pay cash?

So far, knock on wood, we have had a good experience with renting points with two transactions. With our last set of points, however, we did have one potential renter who actually needed a few extra points for their transaction so we borrowed from next year. As it turned out, they changed their mind!! So now we hope to be able to get another renter. That part is a bit frustrating. But fingers are crossed as we have booked the cruise!
