Rent for a day?

Can anyone help me out?
Going for 12 days in June and will be staying on site. What is the cheapest and best way to get from Sanford to POR?

Can I somehow rent a car for one day and drop it on Disney property and then pick up another car on the last day and leave it at the airport?

Family of 5 - 2 adults three kids.

You can do anything!
If there's a Budget at Sanford, you could rent for a day. Drive to WDW, drop family at resort, then return car to Budget at Doubletree Hotel on Hotel Plaza Blvd. Then walk down HPB to DTD and catch bus back to your resort. I've heard (but not confirmed) that Budget will give you a ride to/from your WDW resort. I personally walked up HPB from DTD to Budget at the Doubletree, took about 15-20 minutes, almost a mile.
I'm sure others can give you alternative suggestions, but this worked fine for me.

Thanks for the tip! This would work great since we are planning on staying at POR. A quick boat ride away!
